The Academy will host AFC Blackpool this week in the FA Youth Cup as they enter this season’s competition at the Second Round Qualifying stage.
Taking place on Friday 30 September with a 7.30pm kick-off, the fixture will be held at Avro’s Vestacare Stadium due to recent pitch work which has taken place at Boundary Park.
Louis Dean’s young Latics enter the competition after a solid start to their league campaign and good results in the EFL Youth Alliance Cup.
AFC Blackpool play in the North West Youth Alliance and have already won three game to reach this stage, overcoming Runcorn Town, Chorley and Cheadle.
The turnstile at the Vestacare Stadium will be open from 7.15pm, with admission set at the following prices:
- Adults - £4
- Concessions - £1
