Regan Linney joined from NPL side FC United of Manchester a few months ago, but has already made his mark at Moss Lane.
Scoring three in his first five for the Cheshire outfit, he scored in Altrincham's 1-0 win over Southend two weeks ago.
In the dugout
One of two Phil Parkinsons managing in the National League, the 42-year-old has been in charge of Alty since 2017.
Taking the helm as The Robins were relegated to the Northern Premier League, Parkinson returned the club to the National League North at the first time of asking before winning promtotion via the play-offs in 2020.
