Matchday Guide: Mickleover (H)

9 December 2023

After last week's postponement, Latics are at Boundary Park for FA Trophy action.

We host Mickleover, the leaders of the Southern League Premier Division Central as we switch our focus away from league action.

Admission

Due to expected crowds, we will be closing the Chaddy End and Main Stand for home supporters, with the Jimmy Frizzell Stand and Joe Royle Stand available for use by Latics fans.

Away supporters should note that they'll be situated in the Main Stand Lower Paddock.

Penalties

There will be no extra time if today's game finishes as a draw after 90 minutes, the game will go straight to a penalty shootout.

Team News

Due to competition rules in the FA Trophy, teamsheets are exchanged 45 minutes before kick-off, meaning team news may be published around 2.15pm

Tickets

Admission prices have been reduced for this afternoon's game.

Tickets can still be purchased online for this game up until 3.00pm. Please note, for away fans, there is a separate ticketing page.

The Ticket Office, located at the front of the Main Stand, off Furtherwood Road, is open on matchday from 11am until kick-off.

Admission can also be gained by paying cash at the turnstiles.

Athletic Store

Open from 9.30am on matchday, Athletic Store is the place the visit for all your Latics memorabilia, replica kits and clothing.

There are new items in stock ahead of Christmas, making the ideal presents for your Latics friends and family members.

Located in the corner of the Joe Royle Stand, home and away kits are now on sale, as well as a full range of Puma merchandise.

The shop is open until 5:30pm

DK Services Fan Bar

Situated behind the Joe Royle Stand, the Fan Bar is open for this game from 12pm.

With improvements continuing to be made all the time following its opening last summer, the bar has proved to be increasingly popular with supporters ahead of home matches.

There is good capacity in the bar to welcome more fans and it is the ideal way to kick off a matchday at Boundary Park.

Matchday Programme

Available for £2 and operating a reduced edition for this tie, the Boundary Bulletin still contains lots of great pieces and interviews, including a sit down with Ian Wood, James Reade's analysis, and the lowdown on Mickleover.

The team of programme sellers are located around the outside of the ground, or you can visit the programme office, next to the Main Stand, from 1pm.

Car Parking

Home supporters should use the parking facilities at the back of the Joe Royle Stand, off Hilbre Avenue, which has a cost of £5. Please use the postcode 'OL2 5BL'.

Visiting fans are asked to use the car park at the Royal Oldham Hospital, which is only a short walk from the ground and again costs £5. A steward will be on hand to assist.
