Christmas Toy Appeal 2023

8 December 2023

Oldham Athletic Community Trust, supported by Oldham Athletic Football Club, have extended the appeal for this year's Christmas Toy Appeal

Sadly, there are lots of vulnerable children across Oldham who will be going with very little or nothing this year. We are supporting Oldham Council to make the magic go further by making sure the most vulnerable children in Oldham, have the chance to enjoy the festive period.

If you would like to get involved, all you need to do is buy a present for a child aged 1-17 and we’ll make sure it finds its way to a child who may not expect one. Please note that all toys donated must be brand new and do not need to be pre-wrapped.

The donation point for the Toy Appeal is within Athletic Store, the Oldham Athletic Club Shop, as well as at the Co-Op Store in Uppermill.

Due to the extention of the deadline, fans can now donate toys before or after our FA Trophy game against Mickleover (9 December 2023)

Martin Vose, OACT Head of Community, commented: “With so many families struggling this year, it is more important than ever that we receive donations. We appreciate that it is a tough time for everyone at the moment, but if you can donate just one gift it would really help.

By working with Oldham Council we can work collaboratively to ensure that all gifts donated go directly to families in the most need this Christmas, working towards the aim that no child goes without”.

In addition to the Christmas Toy Appeal, Oldham Athletic players, staff and fans supported Oldham Foodbank with a collection prior to the Altrincham fixture. In total a combined weight of 208.8kg of items were collected.

On behalf of Oldham Foodbank thank you to everyone who contributed!
