Just over two weeks after setting off from San Sebastián de La Gomera, Frank’s made good progress across the Atlantic, despite some setbacks, and is on course to reach Antigua for February.
The last to depart from the port near Tenerife, Frank’s made steady advancements over the past 16 days, clocking up more than 706 nautical miles.
Currently sitting 8th out of 11 solo rowers, he’s been trading places with French rower Dominic Meynadier, South African Leanne Maiden, and fellow Brit, Jamie Howard.
It’s not been plain sailing all the way though, a week and a half ago Frank’s boat capsized and he went overboard, but due to a safety harness, was unharmed.
He remained in good spirits, despite that hurdle, and has continued to make good ground over recent days.
With his tally now over £125,000, donations can still be made using Frank’s Just Giving page.
