Oldham Athletic can confirm that Joe Edwards has extended his loan at Mossley by a month.
The 18-year-old joined Dave Fish’s side last month, and has played in a handful of games for The Lilywhites, winning a penalty against Workington and bagging an assist against Hanley Town.
Edwards won a penalty against Workington and bagged an assist against Hanley Town.
An attacking midfielder by trade, Joe played for Greater Manchester Schoolboys prior to joining Latics, and signed a professional deal at the start of the season.
“It’s a bit different playing men’s football, but I’m enjoying it.” Joe said.
“The lads there are top, I’ve already contributed in a few games, and I’m looking to play more games.”
Keep up the good work, Joe!
