Oldham Athletic are pleased to confirm that Magnus Norman has signed a new contract until the summer of 2025.
Magnus joined Latics from Carlisle United in the summer, linking up with goalkeeping coach Steve Collis, with whom he worked with at Rochdale and Carlisle.
The 26-year-old has played every minute of every league game for Oldham this season, making a number of vital saves, especially in recent games.
“We’ve now got a consistent team and a regular back four and I feel like I’m growing in confidence,” Norman said.
“I’m pleased to have been playing regularly and the fact I’m playing consistently has really helped.
“I feel very at home here now and after recent results I feel like we can only push on and improve.
“We’ve now built a decent gap between us and the teams below but we’ve got to keep our foot on the gas so we can look forward and keep pushing up the league.”
