Oldham Athletic are pleased to announce that Dan Langley has joined the club on a deal until the end of the season.
Dan links up with Latics having trained with the club in the summer following his departure from Gateshead.
The 22-year-old came through the Newcastle United academy in his native north east, and was a regular in their youth teams up until the age of 20.
He then crossed the Tyne to spend some time with Gateshead last season, making 12 appearances as the Heed completed their first season back in the National League.
After a loan spell with Spennymoor at the end of the previous campaign, he joined Blyth Spartans in the summer.
Speaking after signing, Dan was delighted to complete the move.
"I was down here for a few weeks in the summer and saw what a good group there is with Magnus and Matt.
"I'm really delighted to be here and see if I can make my own mark, and kick on from there."
Goalkeeping Coach Steve Collis added that he believes Dan can enhance the group of 'keepers at Latics.
"I think it's important to have three quality 'keepers on our books, who will push each other and that's what Dan will help us do.
"He's still very young for a goalkeeper at 22, and he's had experience at this level before which is fantastic."
Welcome to Latics, Dan!
