Latics will host Mickleover in the FA Trophy Third Round.
Micky Mellon’s side were handed a tie against the leaders of the Southern League Premier Division Central in the draw which took place on Monday afternoon.
National League teams enter the competition at this stage which is regionalised in this round.
Mickleover have already set a club record by reaching this stage, winning five games having started their journey in the First Round Qualifying.
They play two levels below Latics, overcoming higher-ranked opposition in Spennymoor on Saturday and sitting top of their division having lost only one league game this season.
The tie will be played at Boundary Park on Saturday 9 December.
