Earlier in the week, Josh Lundstram was announced as the National League Player of The Season at the North West Football Awards.
The NWFA was founded in 2006 as a way to recognise the achievements of people on and off the pitch in the North West.
As well as handing out awards for sporting achievements, they nominate clubs for their work in the community, education, marketing, and media.
The midfielder was up for ‘National League Player of The Season’, along with former Latic, Joe Yarney.
Josh came out on top in the public vote, and collected his award during the week at Boundary Park.
“It’s always nice to receive some recognition for your performances on the pitch” Josh commented.
“I played every single minute last season, which I think was a big factor in me getting the award.”
