A number new classes and personal trainers feature in the latest Glo Gym timetable from September.
Based in the Joe Royle Stand at Boundary Park, Glo Gym has become one of the most popular fitness centres in the region and there’s now more on offer for new members.
A key part of the gym’s continued success are the innovative and effective classes, which now include new additions such as Lifting Fundamentals and Dance Step.
In total, there are more than 50 free classes for new members!
Lifting Fundamentals are new induction classes which run twice a day from 8am-8.30am and from 3pm-3.30pm. These sessions are ideal for new members or beginners, providing additional support, guidance and the opportunity to become more familiar with the state-of-the-art gym equipment.
Dance Step is another new addition which runs every Tuesday from 4.30pm for 45 minutes.
Popular existing classes include Wod Bodz (Workout Of The Day), which is a 30-minute group workout that incorporates hybrid-style training concepts such as AMRAPS (As Many Rounds As Possible) and EMOMS (Every Minute On The Minute).
If you’re looking for a total body workout that will challenge your fitness and burn fat, Boot Camp is the class for you. With timed periods that involve a combination of bodyweight and free weight exercises that will help boost your strength and endurance, this is a high intensity class that will be sure to get your heart rate up and help to improve your fitness.
The gym now offers a unique opportunity for fitness enthusiasts to train alongside professional athletes. Many members are now taking advantage of this opportunity, and the gym has become a hub for both fitness and sports enthusiasts alike.
The management team and staff at Glo Gym have done an excellent job of staying up to date with the latest fitness trends and incorporating them into their gym's offerings.
