Oldham Athletic is hugely excited to announce plans for the redevelopment of Little Wembley.
The proposals will see the replacement of the existing grass training pitch with a new multi-sports 3G surface and associated enhancements at the site adjacent to Boundary Park Stadium.
As well as being used by the club, the facility will become a prominent community resource, with sporting facilities to enhance first team, academy and recreational sporting use.
The project will see the commissioning of a single-storey building to accommodate changing rooms, classroom / office space, toilets and refreshments area, as well as the installation of eight column sports lights and cycle parking spaces.
The land was purchased by the Rothwell family in March and the club is thrilled to be able to use this space to provide a facility which will enable the local community to engage in sporting activity.

The planning application process has now started and it is anticipated that work will begin during the first quarter of the next calendar year.
