Loan Watch 2023/24

29 February 2024

A look at how our loanees have fared out at their clubs this month.

Kofi Moore

Kofi opened his account for Guiseley with a tidy finish against Morpeth Town.

The young winger took the ball around the goalkeeper, finding the back of the net from a tight angle to put his side 4-1 up.

That victory has really bolstered the Lions’ play-off hopes, as they now sit just one point behind Macclesfield, who occupy the final play-off spot.

Benny Couto

The Portuguese full back helped his Ashton United side to a Manchester Premier Cup Final, putting them 2-1 up against Trafford, as the Robins went on to win 4-2.

They will now face Avro in the final, whilst they also sit 10th in the Northern Premier League table.

Daniel Langley

Daniel’s continued between the sticks for Blyth, making four appearances out of five games this month.

The Spartans currently sit 17th in the National League North table, six points above the relegation zone.

The 23-year-old has since returned to Boundary Park.

Ben Tollitt

Ben’s started life as a Seal with some fantastic performances, helping Chester climb the table.

He helped them turn around a 1-0 deficit against Farsley Celtic with a well-hit free-kick early in the second half.

Jake Forshaw

Jake was stretchered off eight minutes into his Ossett United debut, and unfortunately it’s been confirmed that he’s suffered a broken ankle.

The youngster has returned to Latics to start his rehabilitation, with the goal of getting back on the pitch as soon as possible.

Kurt Willoughby

Kurt made his debut against Dundee United, also playing 12 minutes against Ranger in the Scottish Cup.

His two goals against Partick Thistle were vital in helping Ayr to a 4-3 victory.

Joe Nuttall

Joe's featured five times as his Cheltenham Town side have won three from five in League One.

Brennan Dickenson

Brennan helped Hartlepool go on an unbeaten run, as he contributed to three wins a draw from four for Kevin Phillips' side.

Ollie Kilner

Centre-back Ollie joined Bury last month, helping them maintain their place atop the NWCFL Premier Division table.

During their 2-0 victory over FC Isle Of Man, he assisted Samuel Burns' second of the game to secure the three points.

Frazer Cookson & Llyton Chapman

Frazer and Llyton have returned to Northwich Victoria and Chadderton respectively, having enjoyed spells with both sides earlier in the season.

Northwich Victoria, of the Midland Football League are 16th in the table, whilst Chadderton sit fourth in the NWCFL Premier Division.
