Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Oliver Hammond from Nottingham Forest.
Oliver joins Latics on a one-and-a-half year deal.
The 21-year-old is a product of the Nottingham Forest Academy, and is a Wales U21 international, being capped nine times.
“I’m absolutely delighted to sign for Oldham Athletic, a lot of work has gone into this move from everyone, and I can’t wait to get going,” said Oliver.
“Oldham is a huge club with a really passionate fan base and I want to play my part in getting the club back to where it belongs.
"From speaking to the manager and coaching staff, I'm very impressed with the vision for the club and can't wait to get started.
“I’m really looking forward to what the next few months and beyond have in store.”
Oliver is highly-rated at Forest, having made a number of League Cup appearances for the club in the past two seasons, in addition to featuring on the bench in the Premier League twice last season.
He joined Cheltenham Town on loan at the start of this season, enjoying six months at Whaddon Road before returning to the midlands at the loan’s conclusion.
Oliver will wear squad number 26.
