2024/25 home kit

The shirt is once again manufactured by Puma, the leading German sportswear brand, and is sponsored by The RRG Group for a second season.

The blue shirt features a blue and tangerine jacquard collar and cuff detail, with white side panels. The regular fit includes a crew neck with the Oldham Athletic woven logo at the left chest, as well as the owl from the crest on the back of the neck.

The Puma cat logo appears at the right chest and sleeve, with the shirt complemented by blue shorts and blue socks in a change from recent seasons.

Puma’s dryCell performance technology is designed to wick moisture from the body and keep you free of sweat, and is made with 100% recycled material excluding decorations, as a step toward a better future.

Bringing the energy...

This year's kit launch is not just about showcasing the latest design, it celebrates the talent and energy that comes from within our club.

We are pleased to launch the new kit with a focus on players from our academy and the new women's team.

Our academy has always been important at Latics and although there will be changes to the structure for the 2024/25 season, the launch has provided a special opportunity for the young players who will play an important part in our future to feature.

Four players from last season's Development Squad took part in launch and they will now feature for what becomes our main academy team for the next campaign.

They are joined by two players from our new women’s team, which is also launches for the 2024/25 season, as well as a first team player and academy coach who have successfully progressed through the academy at Boundary Park.

If you're leaving school this summer, you can still apply to join the club's new full-time football and education programmes for the men's academy and women's academy.

A taste of professional life

For the young players and members of the women's team, this experience goes beyond just a kit launch, it offers a glimpse into the professional side of football.

Participating in a full day of photoshoots and accompanying interviews which will be published over the following days allows them to experience the broader responsibilities that come with being a professional athlete.

It is an invaluable experience that prepares them for the demands of their future careers.

The involvement of first team player Will Sutton and academy coach Trey Turner, who have both progressed through our youth system, demonstrates the potential pathways available to our young players and women's team members.

Will Sutton serves as an excellent role model, embodying the dedication and hard work required to succeed in establishing a professional career.

Youth and energy

The theme of this launch is youthful and current, with a continuous thread of energy running through every element.

From the dynamic design of the kit to the enthusiastic participation of our young players and women's team, we aim to capture the vibrancy and spirit of our club.

This youthful energy is not just about age, but about the passion and drive that each player brings to the game.

Our tagline for this launch, "If the energy's right, we can do this," perfectly encapsulates our approach. It signifies the power of positivity and drive, showing that with the right energy, anything is possible.
