Oli Hammond has been called up by Wales U21s for their upcoming international fixtures.
The Young Dragons will take on Lithuania U21s in a Uefa U21 European Championship qualifier at Newport County’s Rodney Parade on 22 March.
Four days later, he will be part of the squad which travels to Turkey to play Morocco U23s in a friendly.
As a result of the call-up, the 21-year-old will miss Latics’ trip to Dagenham on Saturday 23 March.
Oli has already received nine caps for Wales U21, following his previous outings for the national team, starting in 2021.
