Harratt Joins Attack
First Team
11 March 25
Oldham Athletic are pleased to announce the signing of Kian Harratt on a deal until June 2026 for an undisclosed fee.
The forward joins from Fleetwood Town where he has been since August 2024.
He originally signed on a season-long-loan for the seaside outfit but that was made permanent in January.
The 22-year-old joins with plenty of EFL experience for the likes of Bradford, Port Vale and most recently Fleetwood.
“I’m buzzing to be here, this is a massive opportunity for me and one I couldn’t turn down,” Kian said.
“I’m coming here to play football and enjoy it and I see this as the ideal place for me to do so.
“I’m quick, aggressive and like to get at defenders. I want to get the fans off the seats and score goals.
“I’m only young but I feel I have some good experiences at a higher level and I hope I can bring that here.
“My conversations have been great with everyone so I’m just looking forward to getting going and helping the club get to where it can be.”

Born in Pontefract, he started as a youngster at Upton United and was at the academies at Barnsley and Leeds, before signing for Huddersfield at under-17 level.
He made his debut for the first team in a 2-0 defeat against Leeds United in 2019 at just 17 years of age.
Later in the season he then joined Harrogate Town on a one-month-loan looking for regular first team football and in his spell he helped the club secure promotion to the Football League.
Guiseley followed where he made six appearances before arguably his most prolific spell at Port Vale.
He made 22 appearances scoring five goals in a loan spell where he impressed his parent club aswell as Port Vale.
Kian started in Port Vale’s 3-0 play-off final win against Mansfield where he scored the opener and was only denied a second due to the offside flag.
He then returned to Huddersfield and was sent out to Bradford but after nine appearances and a goal his loan spell was cut short.
Fleetwood then followed where he joined permanently after impressing in his loan spell where he was before joining Latics.

On Kian’s arrival Micky Mellon said: “ Kian’s an excellent signing for the club who brings a number of qualities.
“We want to bring the right players to Oldham and that can take time
“With him he brings plenty of experience at such a young age and we’re really happy to have him here.
“He’s a bright lad who’s eager to learn and that’s the type of players we want here, ones who are on board with what we’re trying to do here.”
Kian will wear the number 26 shirt.
Welcome to the club, Kian!
