Latics Handed Northampton Tie

Latics will host Northampton Town in the Emirates FA Cup First Round.

The draw was made on Monday evening, handing Micky Mellon’s side a fixture at Boundary Park against opposition from Sky Bet League One.

Northampton currently sit 14th in League One and are in their third season back in the third tier.

The last meeting between the sides was in April 2022.

The tie will be played on the weekend of Saturday 1 November. Fixture and admission details will be confirmed in due course.
