Rowe joined Latics on an 18-month contract from AFC Fylde in January 2020.
The forward had an incredibly successful time with the Coasters. He bagged 192 goals in 293 appearances whilst at the club, making him their all-time record scorer. His goals included the winning goal at Wembley Stadium as he helped his side to the FA Trophy.
The 30-year old has also played for Kendal Town, Fleetwood Town, Droylsden, Stockport County, Barrow and Lincoln City in his career.
Rowe enjoyed a good start to his life at Boundary Park, netting three times in 10 games before the curtailment of the campaign.
