Fage joined Latics on a two-year deal with an option in July 2019 from French club Auxerre.
The Frenchman had played 25 times for Auxerre’s second string prior to his move to Boundary Park.
In the his debut season in English football, he made 16 appearances in all competitions.
Since the arrival of Keith Curle, Fage has implemented his versatility operating in a variety of positions such as right-wing back, left-wing back and central midfield.
