The 34-year-old returns to Boundary Park after playing for Latics in 2010, he made 68 appearances for the club and scored eight goals before leaving to sign for Stevenage in 2012.
Morais has plenty of Football League experience playing for sides’ such as Bradford City, Bolton Wanderers and Millwall.
Last season, the winger featured 34 times and netted eight goals in Sky Bet League Two for Crawley Town.
