The winger joined Latics in September 2017, and he has become a fans favourite at Boundary Park since his arrival.

He began his career with FC Den Bosch in the Netherlands before signing for fellow Eerste side Fortuna Sittard.

He netted seven goals in 59 appearances for them before joining Romanian side FC Petrolul Ploiești.

After a year in Romania, Gevaro joined C.S. Marítimo in Portugal where he helped them secure safety in the Primeira Liga.

The winger has played 36 games for his country, Curaçao, where he has scored eight goals.

Since joining Latics, Nepomuceno has featured 65 times and found the back of the next seven times including his fantastic strike against Mansfield Town.

In May 2019, Gevaro Nepomuceno committed his future with the club for a further season, but joined National League side Chesterfield on loan in September until the New Year.
