A home-grown talent with enormous potential, Harry Vaughan signed a professional contract with Latics in June 2021 after shining in the Academy.

Vaughan penned a two-year-deal with an option of a further year after working his way into the senior squad during the 2020/21 campaign.
The gifted midfielder, still only 18, has already showcased his excellent technical ability in the men's game with a number of goals and stand-out performances, including the winner at the Stadium of Light against Sunderland in the Papa John’s Trophy.
Completing the first year of his scholarship, his attitude off the pitch and ability on it has attracted the attention of other clubs and Latics have acted swiftly to ensure the player continues his development at Boundary Park became the fourth product from the Academy to be involved with the First Team for the 2021/22 season and has continued to make a big impression.
