Jombati joined Latics in August 2020 from Wycombe Wanderers.
He made his first appearance in the football league for Cheltenham Town in 2014. He turned out over 100 times for the Robins before signing for Wycombe in 2014. As a result of his performances for Town, he was voted into the club’s team of the decade, winning 62.5% of the vote.
In his time at Adams Park, Jombati helped Wycombe to two promotions seeing them rise from League Two to the Championship.
The Lisbon born defender made over 150 appearances in his six-year period with the Chairboys.
