Badan joined Latics on a two-year deal in September 2020 following a successful two-week trial with the club.
He has made over 100 senior appearances in Italian football with the young full back turning out for Hellas Verona, Prato, AlbinoLeffe, Alessandria, Carrarese and Cavese.
Prior to joining Latics, Badan has contributed three goals and five assists.
The 22-year old’s move to Boundary Park is his first club outside of his native Italy.
