Jamie Stott is a product of the Oldham Athletic youth system.

Stott turned professional in 2016/17 and made his breakthrough into the side at the back end of the season.

He played the final four games of the season to help guide Latics to Sky Bet League One survival.

During his four games, the central defender helped his side keep two clean sheets and won the club's man of the match for his performance against Bolton Wanderers on his debut.

He was thrust straight into the action following Anthony Gerrard's injury in the warm up and went on to keep a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers who eventually won promotion.

The defender spent the majority of the season on loan at local side Curzon Ashton. He played over 40 games for the Nash as they reached the second round of the FA Cup.

He also scored two goals during his time on loan with Curzon Ashton.

Stott joined the club aged nine and has progressed all the way through the youth system.
