Youngster Jordan Windass secured a move to Oldham on a two-year contract in June 2022.

The right-sided prospect, 22, who spent the previous two seasons with Bradford Park Avenue, is the youngest son of former Latics striker Dean and brother of current Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Josh.

Windass, who can play on the right side of the back-line or midfield, has progressed with a number of non-league clubs in the Yorkshire area during recent years.

Windass, whose highlight of last season was a 35-yard rocket of a goal he struck against Boston United, has also featured earlier in his career for Gainsborough Trinity and North Ferriby.

Windass’ move to Boundary Park has brought competition to the squad whilst also giving the youngster the opportunity to develop in his career.
