Jameson joined Latics on a one-year deal in September 2020 following his departure from AFC Fylde which was ultimately extended for a further 12-months during the 2021/22 campaign.
The defender showcased plenty of promise as a youngster at Southport which led to Chelsea swooping in for a deal for him. After his departure from Stamford Bridge, West Bromwich Albion brought him to West Midlands.
Whilst at the Baggies, he enjoyed a loan spell with Barrow in the Vanarama National League under Ian Evatt's reign and he featured 25 times as well as scoring once.
The towering central-defender moved to AFC Fylde permanently and made 21 appearances for the Coasters before he put pen-to-paper with Latics and he enjoyed a productive season last year with the club, gaining vital EFL experience.
