The left sided full-back who can also play in the centre joined from Hull City after spending time at Tranmere last season playing in the early part of the campaign.

He is a part of the Hull U21 side that competes in the Premier League Cup, last playing on 7 January against Coventry U21.

In 2021 he joined Boston United on loan making eight appearances helping them to finish in the play-off positions where they lost in the final to York 2-0.

Scunthorpe followed for Jake, he signed on loan in February 2023 for the remainder of the campaign. He made 16 appearances for the Iron, scoring one goal.

Most recently he joined League Two side Tranmere on loan at the start of this campaign where he made six appearances before returning to Hull, playing for their U21s side before the move to Boundary Park.
