Oli Hammond joined Latics from Nottingham Forest in January 2024 on a one-and-a-half year deal.

The 21-year-old is a product of the Nottingham Forest academy, and is a Wales U21 international, being capped ten times.

Oliver is highly-rated at Forest, having made a number of League Cup appearances for the club in the past two seasons, in addition to featuring on the bench in the Premier League twice last season.

He joined Cheltenham Town on loan at the start of this season, enjoying six months at Whaddon Road before returning to the midlands at the loan’s conclusion.
