The shot-stopper joined from Fleetwood Town on a permanent deal after spending time at Boston United and Hereford this season.

Donaghy has spent over four years at Fleetwood impressing regularly when out on loan.

He made his first-team debut for Fleetwood on 10 October 2023, in a 3–3 draw at Wigan Athletic in the EFL Trophy, saving two penalties in the shoot-out.

He has played for Hereford this season aswell as most recently Boston United, where he played twice before joining Latics.
