Ward Heads To South Shields

Midfielder Dan Ward has left Latics to sign for South Shields on the permanent basis.

Ward, 26, who joined Oldham last summer from Gateshead, made five league starts and two substitute appearances whilst at Boundary Park.

The former Newcastle and Middlesborough academy player now returns to his native north east to join the national League North side.

The club would like to wish Dan all the best in his future career.
