Two Home Fixtures Selected For Broadcast
Fixture News
4 July 25
Our home fixtures against Swindon Town and Barnet have been chosen for live broadcast on Sky Sports +.
Following the club's return to the EFL, Latics will now feature as part of the broadcaster's coverage of the EFL, with the latest picks resulting in changes to the original kick-off times.
The home clash against Swindon on Saturday 16 August will now kick off at the earlier time of 12.30pm. Similarly, the fixture against Barnet at Boundary Park on Saturday 27 September will also get underway at 12.30pm.
For those unable to attend in person, both matches will be available to watch live on Sky Sports+, providing an excellent opportunity to follow the action from home.
The opening match of the season away at MK Dons will also be shown live on the channel, although this fixture will still kick-off at 3pm.
Sky Sports+ is a channel integrated into Sky TV, streaming service NOW and the Sky Sports App.
From 2024/25, the EFL and its clubs adopted a domestic rights deal with Sky Sports, which sees over 1,000 of the EFL games across the Sky Bet EFL, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy broadcast live.
This includes 248 Sky Bet League Two matches, with every team shown at least 20 times across all EFL competitions.
Sky Sports+ is a platform that has the capability to show up to 100 live events via concurrent streams and will give customers access to over 50 per cent more live sport this year.
Customers with a full Sky Sports subscription do not pay extra to access Sky Sports+.
Upon releasing these details, Sky have confirmed their broadcast picks for all EFL fixtures until 27 September with no further changes to the schedule during this period.
