Gardner Joins Radcliffe
First Team
20 June 25
Oldham Athletic can confirm that midfielder Dan Gardner has joined Radcliffe following the expiry of his contract at Boundary Park.
Gardner, 35, leaves the club after five seasons at the club, spanning two spells. Across his time in an Oldham shirt, Dan made 149 appearances, scoring 8 goals, and consistently proved to be the complete professional in a blue shirt.
After initially joining the club in 2017, Gardner returned in 2022 becoming the first signing under the Rothwell ownership. His professionalism, determination, and calm presence in midfield earns him respect throughout the Latics fanbase.
He now makes the move to National League North side Radcliffe, who finished 20th last season. Gardner joins a club with strong ambitions and a growing reputation who will be looking to push on from that finish this season.
Everyone at Oldham Athletic would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Dan for his service over the years. We wish him every success for the future both on and off the pitch.
Thank you and good luck, Dan. You’ll always be welcome at Boundary Park.
