Oldham Athletic Community Trust, supported by Oldham Athletic Football Club, are excited to announce a Christmas giveaway to local schools ahead of the festive season.
With Christmas fayres being planned across the borough Oldham Athletic would like to provide the opportunity for schools to claim Oldham Athletic match tickets to support the upcoming fundraising events. Schools are able to claim a family ticket bundle (upto 5 complimentary tickets), to be used as raffle prizes at upcoming events, for the Oldham Athletic v Walsall fixture on 10th December 2025 (7.45pm KO).
This particular festive offer isn’t just restricted to OACT school partners, with any school within the borough of Oldham able to claim tickets.
In order to claim your schools tickets, a request must be made via email by the school headteacher to Martin.Vose@OACT.org.uk (unfortunately we are unable to accept any requests coming from anyone other than this) with the deadline to claim tickets being 9am Friday 28th November 2025. Please note that the tickets are for the Family Stand only and cannot be swapped to any other stand.
All tickets won must include a parent/guardian accompanying any children to the fixture who are aged 14 and below.
Martin Vose, OACT Head of Community, commented: “As always, I would like to firstly thank the football club for their ongoing support of our various community initiatives. As a collective we are incredibly proud of our local school community and we hope that this Christmas gesture demonstrates this as we support their fundraising efforts.We look forward to welcoming everyone to Boundary Park in December as part of this initiative”.
OACT Penalty Shootout
In addition to this fundraising support, OACT have a second fundraising opportunity for schools through the ‘Sponsored Penalty Shootout’.
We have already hosted two sponsored penalty shootout fundraisers to pilot the scheme before official launch, which has helped two local schools to fundraise a combined total of over £5700, which was used to purchase new sports and ICT equipment.
