The Exiles Are Next Up On Saturday!

We’re back at Boundary Park this weekend as Newport County make the 384-mile round trip up north.

The visitors arrive at the foot of the League Two table and have just parted company with manager Dave Hughes, meaning they’ll be searching for a reaction as they look to steady themselves after a difficult start. 

Latics, come into the game unbeaten in three and have recorded back-to-back clean sheets underlining the strength in defence.

Eight clean sheets in the last 16 games is the best return in the league reflecting a tough team that’s hard to break down.

The lads demonstrated real grit and determination last time out in a tough battle against Crewe, standing strong against a strong attacking side. 

Now the focus turns to pushing on, in what is shaping up to be an incredibly tight league table.
