Mascots are back in force for the 2025/26 season, helping to create unforgettable memories at Boundary Park. Today, we’re joined by Jude, Roman-Taylor, Harry, Emrae, Joseph, Ellie and Alexander, who will proudly lead the Latics out before kick-off. We hope you have an amazing experience!

Ultimate Products Play On The Pitch!

Our ever-popular Play On The Pitch activity returns during half-time of this weekends game! This exclusive opportunity for our School Partners allows pupils to lace up their boots and step onto the Boundary Park pitch for a truly memorable moment. For this game, we welcome Diggle and Oasis Academy Limeside to Boundary Park!

We are delighted that Ultimate Products have once again supported us and our schools programme, which includes them being our headline sponsor for Play On The Pitch. Ultimate Products has been bringing branded kitchen and laundry products to the market since 1997. They design, develop and distribute innovative products across our key brands, including household names Salter and Beldray.

The Tuck Shop is Open

The Tuck Shop in the Family Stand is open again this weekend – the perfect place to grab sweets and snacks before kick-off or during the match. Look out for the new signage to help you find it!

Charity Spotlight - Angels United

Over a number of matchdays this season, Oldham Athletic and Oldham Athletic Community Trust is using power of football beyond the pitch with its Charity Spotlight events. The initiative is designed to celebrate and support local causes and helps bring together fans, the community, and charitable organisations to showcase the incredible work being done across Oldham.

Each spotlight match offers a platform for charities to raise awareness, share their stories, and inspire positive change, highlighting the club’s ongoing commitment to making a difference in the community it proudly represents.

Our next Charity Spotlight on the 11th of October is no different, and the message below is directly from the charity, Angels United.

A message from Angels United

The club you wish you weren’t apart of...

Angels United isn’t just a football team. It’s a safe space. A support network. A place where grief is understood without words, where healing happens through shared stories, open arms, and sometimes just a simple nod across a pitch.

About Angels United

We didn’t choose this journey heartbreak did. But from the darkest moments, something powerful was born: Angels United. Founded by a 13 dads back in 2020 we came together to make a difference and make sure no one else had to walk this path alone. Using the power of football we have built a safe space where grief is understood, memories are honoured, and healing happens through togetherness.

In July this year we became a fully registered charity and we continue to provide support on and off the football pitch.

Tuesday Night Support Sessions

Every Tuesday evening, we run free football-based support sessions. These aren’t about ability, fitness, or competition they’re about connection. Whether you want to play, watch, or just sit with others who understand, you’ll always be welcome. It’s a chance to talk, listen, or simply share space with people who truly get it.

Global Wave of Light

Each October, during Baby Loss Awareness Week, we join families around the world in the Global Wave of Light. On 15th October at 7pm, candles are lit worldwide to remember every baby taken too soon. We invite you to join us: light a candle, take a moment of reflection, and share your photos with us by tagging @angelsunitedfc on Instagram, Facebook, or X. Together, our angels’ lights shine brightly across the globe.

On 12th October we will take to the football pitch for an emotional day on and off the pitch and we would love to invite you all to attend. This years game takes place at Stalybridge Celtic, kick off is 11am and we will be joined on the pitch by Honeysuckle FC another team made up of bereaved dads. Entry will be free tomorrow and we would love you to join us, come down to support both teams and join us before the game for a minutes silence to remember all those babies and children our shirts represent.

How You Can Help

As a charity, we rely on the kindness and generosity of others to keep our work going. Fundraising, donations, and community support mean we can continue to provide free sessions, events, and a lifeline for grieving families. Whether it’s organising a fundraiser, attending a match, or simply spreading the word, every act of support makes a difference.

If you’ve experienced loss and are looking for a place to belong or if you want to support our mission - please reach out. There is always room in this family for one more.
