Oldham Athletic can confirm that midfielder Harry Charsley has joined Truro City on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old joined Latics from Newport County at the start of the 2024/25 season and made an immediate impact, starting the campaign in impressive form with goals in the opening two games against Braintree and Wealdstone.

Unfortunately, injury disrupted Charsley’s momentum, limiting his opportunities as the season progressed and making it difficult for the Latics number seven to force his way back into the side.

He departs Boundary Park having made 15 appearances in a blue shirt.

Charsley joins Truro with the Cornish side currently sitting 23rd in the National League, though recent results including a win against Yeovil Town and a draw with title contenders Forest Green Rovers have given them renewed belief in their fight for survival.

Harry will be hoping to play a key role as Truro look to build on that form and guide the club to safety between now and the end of the campaign.

Everyone at Oldham Athletic would like to thank Harry for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him the very best of luck with the next chapter of his career.
