Reggae Meets Ska At FSW Bar 1895!
Events
11 January 26
Live music returns to Boundary Park as the worlds of Reggae and Ska collide when Ruff Trade and the Manchester Ska Foundation perform at FSW Bar 1895 on Saturday 7 March.
Following a number of electric live performances during the past year, the bar opens its doors again for another fantastic evening of music with the two local acts, starting from 6pm.
Tickets cost just £10 per person and are available online here.
Fronted by the dynamic duo of Ryan-I and Christafari, Ruff Trade started in 2016 before releasing their debut studio recording a year later. Blending traditional reggae beats with a Mancunian spin, 'The Brothers' have toured and performed across the country on their Working Man’s Tour.
The Ultimate Two Tone experience lands in OL1, bringing highly energised ska with covers from Madness, The Specials, and Bad Manners. Known and passionately followed throughout the North West, Manchester Ska Foundation is the leading tribute to Two Tone and Ska.
This special event will also feature a special DJ set from MSF frontman, Lee’s Rudeboy Roadshow, following The Brothers’ performance coming live and direct!
You can listen to Ruff Trade’s music ahead of the event by checking out their Spotify account and watching their music videos on YouTube. For more on the Manchester Ska Foundation, you can visit their website by clicking here.
