Barrow (A) Postponed

Tonight’s Sky Bet League Two fixture away at Barrow has been postponed due to safety reasons.

The decision follows the recommendation of the local Safety Advisory Group following an assessment of the weather conditions and the current Storm Chandra.

It has been determined that forecast wind speeds are at a level that present a risk to supporter safety, affecting not only the stadium, but also local travel routes and the ability for emergency services to operate effectively if required.

On this basis, the home club has formally consulted with the local Safety Advisory Group and relevant stakeholders before the postponement was confirmed.
