BIO
Riley Nixon joined Oldham Athletic at Under-12s and has remained with the club ever since, continuing his development through the academy ranks.
The midfielder began his football journey at Manchester United, spending four years at the club between the ages of four and eight, before moving on to Bury at youth level.
A creative midfielder, Nixon is known for his ability to create chances for teammates while also embracing the physical side of the game, contributing with strong tackles and winning his one-v-one duels.
Inspired by Andrea Pirlo, his earliest football memories include watching Manchester City face Borussia Dortmund, scoring his first remembered goal for Bury against Liverpool, and wearing Manchester City’s 2012 home kit as he continues to progress at Boundary Park.
