Olympic medallist Nicola at Boundary Park
Oldham's Olympic Games medallist Nicola White received the loudest cheer of the night on her visit to Boundary Park last night.The 24-year-old, a member of the Great Britain women's bronze medal winning hockey team at London 2012, and her family attended the npower League One match against Walsall as guests of the club.
Nicola, a former pupil at Hulme Grammar, came in her Team GB tracksuit and proudly displayed her medal and had her photo taken with dozens of fans.
She also presented the match ball on the pitch before kick off and then at half time made the Strike It Lucky draw.
