Striker back at Blackburn
New Latics loan signing Jordan Slew has gone back to npower Championship club Blackburn Rovers.The striker has returned to Ewood Park for treatment for the back injury which kept him out of yesterday's npower League One home defeat inflicted by Stevenage.
Slew strained his back in midweek against Walsall and was forced to pull out of training yesterday when it still didn't feel right.
He has returned to Blackburn, but Latics' manager Paul Dickov says he hopes to have Slew back at Boundary Park on Tuesday.
