Latics named an unchanged starting line up for tonight's opening home npower League One game of the season against Walsall.Paul Dickov resisted the temptation to make changes following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Milton Keynes Dons.
Latics' manager was still without the injured James Wesolowski and David Mellor which restricted his options to make changes.
Walsall, beaten 3-0 at home by Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, included former Latics player Dean Holden in their side as they, too, looked for their first league points of the campaign.
