Defender in Colchester squad
Cliff Byrne is back in Latics' squad for Saturday's npower League One match at Colchester United.The defender (pictured) was ruled out of last weekend's FA Cup with Budweiser, third-round tie against Doncaster Rovers through a one-match ban.
Robbie Simpson has recovered from illness to keep his place in a 21-man squad.
Two players missing out on the trip are youngsters Connor Hughes and David Mellor who were both in last Saturday's squad.
