Jose still doubt for Tranmere
Jose Baxter remains an injury worry for Latics' npower League One match against leaders Tranmere Rovers at Boundary Park on Saturday.The striker (pictured) received a painful kick to his thigh against Bury in midweek.
Manager Paul Dickov says Baxter, who has a dead leg, has reported an improvement and he will be assessed on a daily basis.
"Jose still has 48 hours but you can be rest assured he will be desperate to play against his former club Tranmere," he said.
