Latics' fans can offer helping hand
Staff from the Royal Oldham Hospital will be collecting at Saturday's home game against Tranmere Rovers for their 'In Your Hands Appeal.'The new maternity/neonatal unit opens on Decembers 3rd and the fund raising will be to help furnish it and provide extras for families.
Community Matron Diane Chadderton says it is an opportunity for Oldhamers to be part of the new build.
For a £1 donation, staff will scan your hand which will then be displayed on the walls of the entrance to the new unit.
