Mourners requested to wear Latics' shirts
Latics are saddened to learn of the death of former player and devoted fan Tony Waller at the age of 72.
And mourners at tomorrow's funeral at Chichester Crematorium are requested to wear Latics' shirts.
Tony, who was born at Tean, Stoke-on-Trent, was spotted by Latics and played reserve-team football for them in 1960.
He was a member of the first-team squad for a time, but never made a senior appearance for the club.
And though Tony only had a short stay at Boundary Park, he remained a huge fan of the club for the remainder of his life.

Tony, who worked as a civil engineer, later played non-league football in the Chichester area.
The thoughts of everybody at Boundary Park are with wife Jackie and the remainder of the family.
