Fixture switch for Latics
There is a change of venue for Latics' under-18's fixture against Fleetwood Town tomorrow in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference.The match has been switched to Chapel Road after the Cod Army were unable to find a ground on which to stage the game which kicks off at 11am.
It will be a young Latics' side comprising mainly first-year scholars and schoolboys who will be joining the club in the summer.
The most senior player in action will be second-year trainee Chris Sutherland as he continues his comeback from injury.
Winger Sutherland, who has had a shin injury, returned to action with a 30-minute substitute appearance for the reserves against Bury yesterday.
The plan is for Sutherland, who has made one start and 10 substitute appearances for the first team, to start the game tomorrow as he steps up his recovery.
