Full debut for Belezika

Latics handed a full debut to Glenn Belezika in tonight's home npower League One match against Yeovil Town.

The 18-year-old central defender (pictured) was summoned after James Tarkowski and Cliff Byrne were both ruled out through injury.

Belezika had previously only made one first-team appearance in April 2012 as a half-time substitute at Sheffield Wednesday.

Manager Lee Johnson made two changes from the side which kicked at Bury on Saturday for the match against his father Gary's Glovers' side.

The second one saw Matt Smith, who came off the bench to score Latics' matchwinning goal at Bury, win a starting spot.

Belezika and Smith for Tarkowski and Cristian Montano were the two changes from Saturday.

Latics (4-4-2): Bouzanis; Brown, Belezika, M'voto, Grounds; Croft, K Smith, Mellor, Simpson; M Smith, Barnard. Subs: Cisak, Iwelumo, Montano, Millar, Reid, Winchester, Cooper.

Yeovil Town (4-4-2): Stech; Ayling, Hinds, Webster, Edwards; Balanta, Upson, Dawson, Foley, Hayter, Madden. Subs: Williams, Stewart, Maksimenko, Young, Ralph, McAllister.
